The father of three kids was alleged to have attacked his mother after he had repeatedly demanded for documents of the house at 12 Monsuru Makinde Street, Lanre, bus stop Igando, which the mother refused to oblige him.
P.M.NEWS gathered from the victim that Lukman asked her to release the documents of the house to him because he was the first child in the family and it was his right since their father was dead.
She claimed that he wanted to sell the house while she was still alive even though he is not the only child in the family.
Her refusal to grant his request angered him and he reportedly took a cutlass and forced himself unto her room and macheted her several times before neighbours who heard her crying went in and rescued her and rushed her to a hospital.
Lukman’s attempt to escape was frustrated by neighbours who held him and beat him thoroughly before handing him over to the police.

He was charged to Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court for attempting to kill his mother.
The offence police said is contrary to section 388 of the Criminal Code, Cap17, Vol 2, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The trial magistrate, Mrs. S. O. Solebo granted him bail in the sum of N50, 000 with two responsible sureties in like sum.
The matter has been adjourned till 21 February, 2011 for mention.
please let Nigerian law court be well pleased to treat people like this, in a manner that they will regret, it is not fair for a child to beat up her mum not minding that she is the one that gave birth to her, please make the law court fight for us.
