PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan, his deputy, Architect Namadi Sambo and national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Okwesileze Nwodo said, Tuesday, that the Federal Government and the party want the former governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to return to Government House, Asaba, to enable him continue with his vision and  pace-setting development programmes for the state.
They spoke at a rally in Warri by the PDP to affirm its support for the return of Dr. Uduaghan in Thursday’s gubernatorial re-run election in the state.

Ogun denies theft of babies in government hospital

The Ogun State government yesterday refuted speculations of the theft of five babies from the state government-owned Oba Ademola Maternity Hospital, located in Ijemo area of Abeokuta.

Information had spread across the state and environs that some suspected hoodlums forced their way into the hospital and took away five recently delivered babies to an unknown destination.
