Lesbians Spotted In Super Falcons ( How Romantic!)

The Super Falcons' Coach Eucharia Uche, has made a statement saying that there are lesbians in the country's female national team.

The statement which was made at the 'First Seminar on Women Football in Nigeria: Challenges and Prospects' says that: “It's a worrisome experience that some of our players indulge in lesbianism. Some of them go as far as renting rooms in hotels around the team's campsite where they go to satisfy their sin assembly.

She continued by saying “A good number of them even bring their male friends into the camp. It's a serious development that has been detrimental to the team's growth and performance.”

Tell me, will you date this lady?
She is a falcon player:

STEROIDS, SHEMALE FOREAL?
Meanwhile, statements from Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)'s Chief Media Officer, Ademola Olajire, who few years ago had echoed the ravaging scourge of 'women sleeping with their fellow women as love birds', could have laid to rest the veracity of the existence of lesbians among Falcons.

“We all know of these vices because lesbianism has become a thing of common knowledge that the female footballers no more hide it among themselves. However, those who indulge in the nasty act had promised to stop it and the NFF is putting measures in place to ensure that they keep to their promises,” the media officer stated.

Most expensive bra costs N300 Million ($2M)

This lady Adriana Lima, wore the most expensive bra so far. at the rate of $2M (N300M)
Ladies, can u buy such bra?
guys, can you buy such bra for your wife/girlfriend?

From Source
This morning when I turned on the TV I saw the Ariana Lima, the genetically-perfect Victoria Secret Angel, being interviewed while sporting a $2 million bra. Then I noticed that she happened to be in the same Victoria Secret flagship store in Soho that’s just a hop, skip, and jump from the BroBible office. I immediately got on the train and made a bee-line for the store. When I got there you could barely see the Brazilian model thanks to throngs of paparazzi. Determined to snap some photos, I wiggled my way through and I managed to get a few shots of the publicity stunt.

Owner destroys a $750,000 Lamborghini with sledge hammer

A team of sledgehammer-wielding men in China pulverized a new Lamborghini Gallardo with the owner's permission, because he was fed up with a mechanic who repeatedly failed to fix an engine problem, the Daily Mail reported.

A businessman from the city of Qingdao in eastern China bought the souped-up Italian sports car in October for about $750,000, but that didn't stop him from reducing it to pile of scrap metal on Tuesday -- World Consumer Rights Day.

Han Nan, the Lamborghini's owner, returned the flashy vehicle to the dealership in November to correct an engine malfunction. But the car came back from the garage in worse shape with a damaged bumper and chassis, the Daily Record said.

Subsequent arguments that Han had with the managers at the dealership and Lamborghini officials went nowhere.

Han, an entrepreneur with a wholesale lighting company, turned his personal frustration into a public spectacle. Crowds gasped as the demolition crew clad in blue uniforms and helmets totaled the car on the streets. At one point, the workers handed over the sledgehammers to the spectators and allowed them to join in the frenzy by climbing on top of the Lamborghini and smashing it.

Court dissolves 266 marriages in 12 months

The President, Abeokuta Customary Court Grade I, sitting in Ake, Ogun State, Mrs. Christiana Olaleye, said her court has dissolved 266 marriages in the last 12 months.

Besides, she said the court also reconciled 74 couples within the same period.

Olaleye, who said this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday in Abeokuta, condemned the high rate of divorce in the country, describing it as worrisome and disturbing.

She blamed the high rate of divorce on intolerance and immorality.

The court president accused some parents and guardians of shirking their responsibility of bringing up their children properly, noting that improper upbringing was one of the causes of the high divorce rate.

Olaleye said, “To some extent, I think some parents are to be blamed for not giving proper guidance to their children.Today, most children lack tolerance; this makes their marriages to crumble.

“I have had some turbulent times in my 48-year-old marriage too, but it is tolerance and the future of my children that have made me to remain in it.”

She, therefore, counselled prospective couples to pray fervently before getting married.

MEND threat: Nigerians should be vigilant — Police

Inspector General of Police, Hafiz Ringim

THE Police have called on Nigerians to be more vigilant in their daily activities.
The warning from the Police followed a threat by the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, asking Nigerians to steer clear of political gatherings in Lagos, Abuja and Niger Delta.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Olusola Amore, who stated this in a telephone interview with one of our correspondents on Friday, added that though Nigerians should not buy into the threat, they should be more security conscious in their day-to-day activities.

The threat, he said, could cause panic among the populace, adding that security agencies were already collaborating in order to make sure that Nigerians were safe wherever they were.

Amore said, “We want Nigerians to be more vigilant in whatever they do and wherever they found themselves. Though we believe that the threat could make Nigerians panic, they should not.

“Rather, we call on them to go about their normal duties; and be ready to volunteer information to the Police because we cannot do much without information.

VIDEO : “BlackBerry Babes” – What Does This Movie Say About Us?

http://cdn.bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/BBB-BellaNaija.jpg

For the past few weeks, a movie poster for a Nollywood movie titled “BlackBerry Babes” has been making the rounds on social networking sites and Nollywood fan sites all around the web. The initial fascination was based on the assumption that “Nigerians have become so addicted to BlackBerry devices that we just had to make a movie about it”. However, as clips of the movie began to emerge online, the questions got a little bit deeper. The story follows a very common theme that we have seen in a thousand and one Nollywood movies – wayward young women trying to live above their means. In this case, the focus is BlackBerry smartphones. The movie “premiered” via YouTube last night as has received over 27,000 views. It seems as though having a “BB” has become a “standard” that Nigerians expect people not fall below. Case in point, several young ladies and gents have mentioned that rather than asking for your number, intending suitors ask for their BB Pin and if they don’t have one, they get a blank look and then “see you around”. A young entrepreneur with a budding business also noted that prospective clients ask for his BB pin and since he doesn’t have one, he has lost significant business because of that. Anyway, back to the movie.

How ACN plans to rig in S’West — PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party has raised the alarm that the Action Congress of Nigeria is planning to rig elections in the South-West.

The PDP, in a statement by a member of the PDP Integrity Vanguard, Mr. Adamu Gwazuwang, accused some leaders of ACN of planning to rig polls by replicating the voter register through the active connivance with some unnamed officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

It said the ACN was already compiling what it called a special voter’s register to be used during the election, where the names of PDP supporters would be expunged from the main voter’s register.

But in a swift reaction, the ACN said it was the PDP that was actually exposing its plan to make sure that the people’s votes did not count.

Aharonouvich spoke at the end of a closed-door meeting he had with the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mrs. Farida Waziri, in Abuja.

Nigeria recently enacted an anti-terrorism bill to confront the rising cases of terrorist acts in the country.

The bill outlaws actions of individuals or groups that can be linked to terrorism, including kidnapping, oil bunkering, piracy and airplane hijacks.

North-South rivalry stops progress of petroleum bill

Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke

The age-long mutual suspicion between the northern and southern parts of the country over the nation’s economic resources came to the fore again at the House of Representatives on Thursday, stalling the consideration of the report on the Petroleum Industry Bill.

The House boiled as a lawmaker from Zamfara State, Sani Takori, and his counterpart from Rivers State, Mr. Igo Aguma, divided the House on regional lines as they argued over the proper nomenclature for the ownership and control of the nation’s oil resources.

A line in the clause requires that the control and ownership of oil resources be vested in the “Government of the Federation.”

But, Takori, a former Attorney-General in his home state, leading some Northern lawmakers, including the Chairman of the Committee on Millennium Development Goals, Mrs. Saudatu Sanni, said the clause was deficient in defining ownership and control.

He opposed the use of ‘Government of the Federation’, arguing that the clause should rather read “Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”, “People of the Federal Republic of Nigeria” or the “Federal Government of Nigeria.”

Nigeria spent N155bn on rice importation in 2010 – Sanusi

The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Lamido Sanusi, has said that the country spent about $1bn (N155bn) on the importation of rice in 2010.

The CBN governor spoke in Kaduna at the Northern Nigeria Economic Summit organised by the Northern Political Summit Group, otherwise known as the G20.

While presenting the lead paper titled, “Mobilising Capital for Transformation of Northern Nigeria,” Sanusi wondered why Nigeria should be a major importer of rice when it had good climate and resources to produce the staple locally.

Urologist advises Nigerians to drink plenty of water

National Hospital, consultant urological surgeon, Dr Celsius Undie, has advised Nigerians to drink up to three litres of water daily to keep their kidneys healthy.
Undie on Friday in Abuja said that low consumption of water could lead to the development of kidney stones, as the small particles that got into the body could form substances as hard as stones found on the streets.
He said that kidney problems requiring surgical attention usually came with lots of pains and people were more aware of them than other kidney medical problems.
“The kidney is an excretory organ and the job of the kidney is to filter things that can dissolve in water that we don’t need in our body.
“The kidney works only when it has to conserve water; when water is just passing through and coming out the kidney is resting.

As the 2011 Nigerian General Elections approach, various advocacy groups and non-profit organizations are taking action and encouraging eligible Nigerian to “make their voices heard” by voting during the elections. Voting numbers relative to the number of eligible Nigerians were unimpressive during the last general election in 2007, therefore it is important that we do not let this happen again!

We’ll win Lagos, S’West — ACN

The battle for the political soul of Lagos got fiercer on Saturday as the Action Congress of Nigeria maintained that the party would still emerge victorious in the forthcoming poll in the state.

The party also said it would capture the over 14 million votes in the South-West, leaving the Peoples Democratic Party, its major challengers in the zone, empty-handed in the coming poll.

Among ACN chieftains who stated this at the party’s colourful rally held at the Tafawa Balewa Square on Saturday were the former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, his successor, Babatunde Fashola, and the party’s presidential candidate, Nuhu Ribadu.

Specifically, Tinubu, who urged the electorate to shun the PDP overtures, said the party had nothing to offer the people of Lagos and the West in general.

Blood Money: Five Students Die Scrambling For Akpabio's Stolen Money

Akpabio

Five students were killed and several others reportedly injured during a riot by students who wanted a share of the ₦15 million distributed by the Akwa Ibom State governor Godswill Akpabio. The tragedy occurred yesterday at the Government House Uyo and the Ibom Hall where undergraduate students and unemployed graduates gathered at the instance of the state governor.

The inability of some unemployed graduates, students of the University of Uyo, Uyo City Polytechnic and Akwa Ibom State College of Education to get a share of the money led to a stampede.

Mr. Akpabio had announced a ₦10 million largesse for undergraduate students who were supposed to get their money at the Government House. His running mate in the gubernatorial election, Nsima Ekere, was billed to distribute the rest ₦5 million to unemployed graduates who converged at the Ibom Hall.

Trouble started with the rumour that organisers of the event have taken away ₦4 million out of the ₦10 million given to the students. After waiting for more than four hours for the remaining ₦6 million to be shared, the students started a protest.

The protest turned into a stampede as security agencies tried to remove them from the premises. In the ensuing scramble, gunshots were fired by the police and the protesting students responded by hurling stones at the police officers.

At Ibom Hall, a few fortunate unemployed graduates got ₦1,000 each but the rest had to run away when they heard the gunshots. Matters worsened when the protesting students were joined by others in the adjourning streets of Oron and Wellington Bassey road leading to sporadic shooting which extended into the night.

During a telephone interview, Essien Udoma, the Student Union President of the University of Uyo, confirmed that they were invited by the state governor to collect ₦10 million but people under the aegis of Concerned Students for Gosdwill Akpabio, the organisers, made away with ₦4 million.

He said seven students comprising three each from the Akwa Ibom State College of Education and Uyo City Polytechnic, and one from the University of Uyo have been hospitalised in an undisclosed hospital. He refused to say how many were killed in the riots.

In what amounts to a reaction, the state government has banned all groups from gathering at the Government House for any reason. The commissioner for Information and Social Re-orientation, Aniekan Umanah, said any such rally should be taken to the PDP secretariat.

Do-or-die mentality: Obasanjo rattles opposition

http://punchng.com/images/March/Sunday/pix201103066494135.jpg

“Nigerians should make sure that they take the comment by the former president seriously. He said so the other time (2007)and we all saw what followed.”
A broad spectrum of the opposition riled by former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s reported attempt to resurrect “do-or-die” approach to the April general elections have carpeted him, describing him as a man still living in the past.

However, they said the opposition was more than ever prepared to checkmate him and stave-off bid to manipulate the electoral process this time unlike what happened in 2007.

US investors to inject $20bn into Nigeria’s power sector

Strong indications have emerged that investors from the United States may inject $20bn into Nigeria’s power sector in the next two years.

The development was confirmed by the Chief Executive Officer, Kaleidoscope International Business Forum, Mrs. Linda Middleton, in Abuja.

The decision is coming barely five days after the Chairman, Presidential Task Force on Power, Prof. Barth Nnaji, had raised the alarm over the zero allocation to the gas-to-power projects in the 2011 budget.

Nnaji had said that the development could affect the Federal Government’s ambition to generate adequate electricity for Nigerians.

Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari

Former Nigeria‘s military Head of State and Presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has promised to facilitate the deletion of the controversial immunity clause from the nation‘s constitution if he gets the nod of Nigerian voters in the April elections.

”We will amend the constitution to remove immunity from prosecution for elected officers in criminal cases,” Buhari states in his manifesto which was released in Abuja on Monday.

Section 308 of the nation‘s 1999 constitution shields the President, his deputy, the governors and their deputies from criminal and civil prosecution during their term in office.

10 Reasons why Marriages/Relationships fail in Nigeria

Marriage is an institution ordained by God. It is a sacrificial commitment between both parties involved, in which both leave their former lives and come together to become one in a new life. It is very saddening to note that the very people smiling and overexcited about their marriage some years ago, can not now stand the very presence of each other.

In Nigeria, the rate is on the increase, but because of our culture where we strongly dont believe in divorce to a larger extent, and how patient our women/men can be towards their marriage, our divorce rates are low compared to the other countries in the whole world

Now let us examine the Causes of Marriage/Relationship Failures in Nigeria.
Here are the 10 Most Causes of why Marriages Fail in Nigeria

LACK OF TRUST

ACN will bring Nigerians fresh hope – Tinubu

The Action Congress of Nigeria on Monday in Dutse, Jigawa State commenced its its presidential campaign in the North-West, with its leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, assuring Nigerians of its determination to offer them fresh hope.

Tinubu, in a solidarity message after the presidential candidate of the party, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and his running mate, Mr. Fola Adeola, were presented with the party’s flags, said the nation’s leadership crisis would be resolved with the election of the party in the April polls. He told the mammoth crowd of party chieftains and supporters that the ACN would provide a youth friendly leadership.

He said the ruling Peoples Democratic Party had been insensitive to Nigerian youths, assuring, however, that Ribadu would redress the situation. The former Lagos State governor said the Ribadu/Adeola joint ticket would create 120 million new jobs.

Double registration: INEC to prosecute offenders

AHEAD of the April 2011 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission has vowed to prosecute anybody involved in double registration during the recent voter registration exercise.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Rivers State, Mr. Aniedi Ikoiwak, who made this vow on Monday, argued that such a step would deter others.

Ikoiwak spoke in Port Harcourt at the opening of a two-day seminar for political reporters, organised by the state chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists.

He said that the commission would soon publish the names of those involved in double registration, maintaining that electoral malpractices could pose great danger to free and fair elections in the country.

He stressed that those involved in double registration would not have their names on the voter register, explaining that the aim was to ensure free and fair elections.

“INEC will match fingerprints with photographs of the registered voters, local government by local government in each state and later state by state, to detect double registration throughout the country.

“The exercise may take sometime, but it will be done. When INEC is through with sorting out of persons with double registration, Nigeria’s prisons may not be able to contain them, but this will serve as deterrent to others.

“The tension being generated by the April elections is real. The politicians in the 63 political parties in Nigeria must focus on issues. The media must be clean and shun corruption in order to ensure credible elections. There cannot be free and fair elections without responsible media,” Ikoiwak stated.

He expressed worry that most political parties submitted fake addresses to INEC because they did not have any office or secretariat.

Ikoiwak said that the commission would soon begin to address the issue with a view to bringing those involved in the act to book.

Earlier, while declaring open the seminar, which has the theme “The Media and the 2011 Elections: Issues and Challenges,” the state Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, described the administration in the state as transparent, saying, “our books are open.”
